A massive thank you

to all our firefighters, sponsors, volunteers and event partners that helped put together another fantastic Sky Tower Stair Challenge on the weekend! Almost $800,000 has been raised despite Covid-19 causing lockdowns and postponing the original event date.

About the event

On May 18 2019, firefighters raced up 1103 stairs of the iconic Sky Tower and raised more than 1.3 million for Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand. Every day, 6 New Zealanders are diagnosed with a blood cancer, or one person every four hours. Your generosity & support has culminated in over $7.2 million for the last 15 years to support blood cancer patients in our community. Are you in for the next challenge in 2020?
